Course Design Timeline
Many faculty who are new to developing online courses often underestimate the time it takes to transition a course from face-to-face to an online version. When working with TDP or DCDC, we advise faculty to allot: 10 hours per week minimum across one semester to develop the course. For brand new courses, you will likely need to allot more time.
