The nature of F/OSS projects causes communities of users, developers, advocates, and businesses to form around them. The Internet makes community development and community participation world-wide activities. What, you say? You aren’t a programmer? In this module we will look at the motivations that cause people to participate in F/OSS communities and we’ll explore how to get involved, even if software development isn’t your thing.
